DefVerse NFT
Games are the heart of DEFVERSE. They are the inspiration for this project and at the forefront of our mind when we decide the direction of the company. They also determine the strategy we employ as we move forward. Both of our founders are games enthusiasts, and we understand that games should not be solely focused on their profit margin or marketing potential. We truly believe that.
The first game we developed for the platform had to be lightweight, simple, yet fun. We wanted to engage our audience and player base with a skill-based game, and finally decided what better way to do that than with a good old arcade classic.
Introducing ‘SPACE GUARDIANS’.
Space Guardians is the first title to be released on the DEFVERSE platform and is a vertically scrolling shooter game alike arcade titles such as “Exed-Exes”, the classic “1943: The Battle of Midway”, and the well-known “Everwing” project.
In Space Guardians you rush to the defence of Neko Sekai, as all races put aside their differences to protect the world as they know it. Little is known of the alien force that threatens your world, but one thing is certain, they’re not here to make new friends.
Equipped with a generous arsenal of weapons and ammunition, you take to the skies and battle through the onslaught of these intrepid alien invaders. The goal is to destroy the mysterious commander to ensure the survival of your people.
There are a variety of ships to collect, each with their own factional aesthetics, weapons, and ultimate abilities. Customise your ship and earn that tactical advantage with various upgrades and buffs earned in game and through NFT collections, as well as some awesome auras, unique titles, and icons to show off to other challengers.
Dominate the leader boards and prove your superiority to earn prizes, NFTs, and trophies.
We aim to release new games on the platform regularly. We have a list of games that we are planning to build including community games, scrolling shooters, arena-based games, and RPGs. This list is NOT exhaustive. We aim to cater for every gamer eventually through our own games and those of our partnered indie developers.
If it can populate a leader board, host a tournament, and offer some sort of competitive feature then it’s likely to be considered.
DEFVERSE take feedback from our community members and investors seriously. We want to promote communication as we move forward and develop the brand. We will be very open about the games we plan to release in the future, and we’ll seek your help when deciding which game to work on next. The voice of our community is important to us. Without you, we would have nothing.
DEFVERSE will regularly host live streams and AMA (ask me anything) events, where we will offer an opportunity to speak with our founders, our development team, and influencers. We want to use these sessions to discuss our plans, our options, and to take suggestions and receive vital feedback.
Using these methods, we can ensure that we’re taking the right steps to promote, develop and evolve our brand.
