Sector 3: Arena (Squads)

LORE

Sector 3 is a game mode where squads of 3 players find themselves in the heat of battle against other squads. It is a region in space known to harbour some of the most hostile planets in the Nekon solar system. Ravaged by wars for 7 millennia, few dare to venture deep into the sector. However, those who do, can expect to find an incredible wealth of salvage and unlimited resources out there, partly due to the aftermath of the many bloody battles that took place. Ship wreckage, blueprints and faction secrets lie there, ready for the taking. Dare you venture there?

AK' RIT THE DECEIVER

The legendary haul of Ak' Rit the Deceiver, the most infamous space pirate ever known, still resides somewhere in the depths of Sector 3. His plunder was lost in the area known as "Suthat", which loosely translates to "The Graveyard" in Vilkit, a common language used by intergalactic mercenaries and traders in that area of space.

Riches, wealth, and prestige lie waiting for those daring enough to challenge the zone. However, BE WARNED! Suthat is swarming with scavengers, rogue-traders, galactic enforcement agents and un-named anomalies. It is no place for the part-time pilot. God speed to those adventurers who seek to risk it all in the pursuit of fame and fortune.

ABOUT

Sector 3 is a multi-squad* game mode where victors will be awarded points in a league style format. It combines the arena style combat of Detention and the survival style gameplay of Neko Sekai. Gather with a couple of your most trusted friends and take to the outer reaches of the solar system to gather, salvage, capture, and bounty hunt space criminals, unscrupulous traders, including other player controlled squads. Don't be misled in thinking it's only the corrupt and evil that suffer your wrath. You may also choose to take on the GEA (Galactic Enforcement Agency) and support various criminal entities including illegal black-market traders, bounty hunters, corrupt officials and more. * Sector 3 is expected to host up to 20 squads (60 players) who will be randomly warped into the zone at the start of the match. The match will last approximately 30 minutes where the players who survive to the very end are expected to face off against each other before the timer elapses and the GEA (the space authorities) seize control of area and detain / destroy all remaining combatants.
