Tournaments are your opportunity to pit yourself against a roster of pilots in a variety of 1 vs 1, 2 vs 2, Squad vs Squad, and even Clan vs Clan competitions. Tournaments hosted directly by DEFVERSE are funded from the Tournaments portion of the seasonal prize pool.
Tournaments may vary in criteria and number of allowed applicants. Tournaments will be completely free to enter for any player with eligibility.
Where there are limits on the number of applicants allowed per tournament, registration will be offered strictly on a first-come, first-served basis.
Tournaments will be listed and accessible via the in-game menu, and may, from time to time, be announced via the page/banner on our website/game.
When competing in a tournament, participants will be prompted to enter the tournament lobby where they will then be placed into a recorded session, and their challenge will begin.
Scores, game data and video/screenshots will be sent to the server for verification and anti-cheat checks, and upon validation, scores will be recorded in the tournament charts.
Generally, the top 8-32 players from the tournament leader board will be placed into a “Single Elimination Tournament” where they will be randomly selected to play against each other, 1 vs 1, through Quarter Finals, Semi Final and eventually The Grand Final.
The winner will be crowned champion and the rewards will be paid, as advertised, to the top 'x' amount of players as described in the tournament prize structure.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Only tournaments officially hosted and funded by DEFVERSE are subject to the additional rewards bonuses gained by those who have DEFVERSE NFT in their eligible account wallet.
This specifically EXCLUDES privately funded tournaments hosted by DEFVERSE for any 3rd party.
Tournaments may also be hosted privately by Clans, Squads, or even individual players. These tournaments use DEFVERSE' tournament systems but are generally funded using their own cash pools.
These cash pools are paid in-full, in advance, to DEFVERSE before they are allowed to be advertised. The winners of these privately funded tournaments are paid directly by DEFVERSE to prevent any unfair practices by third parties.
Tournament services are offered by DEFVERSE and may be withdrawn at any time without notice. You are not automatically granted the ability to host your own tournaments and accounts with any infractions for cheating, bad behaviour, or any other reason, are ineligible to host tournaments.
DEFVERSE charge a registration fee + a final prize fee of 5% for this service which is payable by the HOST of the tournament in advance. The tournament is then listed on the official tournaments list which be viewed in-game and via our website. Upon listing, tournaments generally cannot be cancelled, however, in extreme circumstances we may grant cancellation of them. DEFVERSE retain the right to delay, defer, forfeit, or terminate any privately listed tournament for any reason as deemed necessary by the company, without notice.
The registration fee and final prize fee are ALWAYS payable to DEFVERSE and will be taken from any refund, if granted.
