Step 3: Delivery

From the store, to your door...

In a system ravaged by conflict, greed, and shady dealings; there's always room for something to go wrong. This is one of the core risks for a player, or would be merchant; when deciding to trade. However; worry not my friends, we have you covered. There are delivery options attached to every trade, here you can limit your liability and choose a delivery option for your item once it has been sold.

Insurance

It's a crazy old business; is trade. You never know what might happen from one moment to the next, so what better way to protect your investments / sales, than with insurance. Insurance can be bought by simply selecting the INSURE option while listing your item for sale. The fee for this protection is based upon the final sale price of your item. Sellers must choose one of the options before the listing can be made on the market place.

Buyers are not aware of insurance coverage, they simply pay and wait for their item. If the item fails to reach the buyer safely for any reason, the money will be refunded to the buyer and the seller will either incur a hefty loss, or be compensated via their insurance cover if they opted for it.

You may significantly reduce insurance premiums when you choose a trusted / time-proven delivery service.

Trusted Delivery Services

There are two types of delivery service in the game. There is the premium delivery service operated by Kwik, the NPC delivery service within Space Guardians. Don't trust time served AI-driven logistics? Then you could always put your trust in the hands of other skilled pilots who can enlist their services via the PLAY GAME menu. Here players can check the DELIVERY AGENT check box which will allow them to receive notifications of incoming delivery offers. Players may earn some quick CosmaKoin for their services and build their reputation as one of the most reliable delivery agents in the system!

Failing that, you can always choose to deliver the item in person. Sometimes if you want the job done right, you just gotta do it yourself, right? Just note, delivering the item yourself will NOT reduce insurance premiums. Your personal delivery score does not affect delivery of your own items. You can however, choose to trust your skills, and just risk it without paying insurance at all. That's completely down to you. You just gotta ask yourself one question ...

Do you feel lucky, punk? Well, do ya?
