Knowledge is power

The research system in Space Guardians is designed to govern the crafting system. Most crafted item blueprints will need to be unlocked through research. Players are presented with a research skill tree where the can choose to invest their research tokens. The research system can be found in the HANGAR menu. Research tokens can be found in a variety of ways including:

DAILY / WEEKLY REWARDS

Tokens may be included in the daily draw but can always be found in the weekly draw. You can unlock these simply by completing the weekly challenges.

RANK REWARDS

When you hit certain milestones in your career, you will receive a variety of rewards. Research tokens are among these rewards.

LOOT

While playing various non-arena modes in the game, you can earn loot. There is a chance you might get lucky and find research fragments amongst this loot, which can be combined to create research tokens.

TREASURE

Ak' Rit the Deceiver lost his haul somewhere in the depths of Sector 3, but that wasn't the only thing he left behind. Never truly trusting anyone, he stashed treasure all around the Nekon star system. Seek out the treasures, gather with fellow pilots and scour the depths of Nekon and see what you can find. There's gotta be something research-y in there, right?
